I believe that peace is going to have to start by each of creating inner peace. I know everyone throws these ideas around.
The last couple of days I have really been making a conscious effort in each circumstance or thought that comes to me to ask myself do I choose peace or chaos. It is interesting when we look at simple thoughts. Memories of things people said or thoughts about things that are happening, pop up. When we are conscious of them, we realize that each of these are creating a reaction inside of us. Try it. Be conscious of what your body is telling you as you go through your day today. In each moment do you choose peace or chaos? When someone says something you don’t agree with, do you get upset or are you able to be calm, state your truth and let it go! When you hear the news on the TV or radio, do you cringe or are you able to know in your heart that everything happens for a reason and that we are all safe and we are evolving? I think you’ll be amazed at how much chaos we choose. I was! It was a great feeling each time I remembered to be aware and decided to choose peace.
I’m going to focus again today on creating inner peace.
